Feng Shui

Feng Shui is an ancient art related to the law and order of the universe and the power of nature. It was first developed some 6,000 years ago. From the mountainous south western region of China during the Han Dynasty (200 B.C. - 200 A.D.), the earliest known records of Feng Shui can be established. It's a system based on the elements of astronomy, astrology, geology, mathematics, philosophy, psychology and intuition. The five elements of Feng Shui are as follows:

Metal : The Metal element represents detail, communication and money. For thousands of years humanity has utilised the Feng Shui element Metal as a means to trade - silver, gold and bronze.

Wood : this element represents creativity.

Water : the element Water represents one of the core essences of Feng Shui - windwater. Water is the deep element associated with time and tides. Hard to grasp or hold but vital to all life.

Fire : fire represents clarity, inspiration and insight. The Fire colors in Feng Shui are all from the red spectrum and Feng Shui consultants often recommend this element for protection and inspiration.

Earth : the element Earth represents support, stability and the centre of the home. A Feng Shui consultation involves an accurate survey of your space and clear advice using Feng Shui elements to bring harmony and stability in your life.

Feng Shui without the added "time" dimension is simply not enough. And the two well-known systems are: The 9 Star Astrology ,which deals with the predictable aspects of your Star and the annual influences and covers every aspect of you and your life; Four Pillars and Destiny , detailed as a Feng Shui Consultation.

Feng Shui is the Chinese traditional landscape evaluation system which can be used to avoid evil and chase propitiousness. As the unique way of thinking of Chinese, Feng Shui is not merely used in site selection and planning of citiesˇ˘villages and dwellings, but also embodied in Chinese custom and culture.
